SILVER INFOCOMM WELLNESS AMBASSADOR

AWARD 'SIWA' IDA/PA SINGAPORE

This programme was interduce to me by one of RCZONE 3 Chairman our area, and he nominated me for this programme since he say have some IT skills, and he know that i have Website that i create since years 2000, i was excited and wanted to know more about this programme never that i know that PA & IMDA will 'interview participant who register for this Infocomm Programme, they ask about our knowledge about IT, computer, website or even social media, and any tools that we used to make our website better and why we wanna join the programme

After a month of waiting i received email inviting me to go to People,s Association Ageing Council (PA AAC) for some breffing about the programme, those who was selected have to go tru 3 clasess and they cannot skip any of this clasess or they will be disqualified from this programme.  in the end, i finish up all 3 clasess and i find it so interesting beside the info they provide to us, and we learn alot from this programme beside we know many friends from this programme too, anyway just wanna add abit about this programme, all i can say is.. this programme teach us to inspired our peers to use ICT even more in our daily lives, and be inspiration to others.

in order for them to be selected to be 'Silver Infocomm Wellness Ambassador ' participant have to be active with voluntary work (CC, RC and so on, which help/support community work) in the end of programme only 30 participant will be selected to received award on 28 Sept 2014 at ITE College East Simei Singapore, theres 28 chinese participant, 1 indian and 1 malay and that was me (representing RC3/LuahanRasa), now i know why they interview so much asking about my knowledge about computer and LuahanRasa website

didnt aspect they will judge us and interview us about our knowledge and also about our voluntary work  and so on, its been long i was nervourse like this, there was 3 judges all from PA. never that i know while they asking me about LuahanRasa Official website at the same time they ask me the address to my website http://luahanrasa.com or better know as https://luahanrasafm.blogspot.sg/ one of them smilling and say 'im looking at ur website now, well all i can say is, congratulaion ur website was nice, you have many visitor beside you put very interesting topic about entertaiment and life, good job - welldone' (wowwww that was not bad after all :D alhamdulillah and insyaAllah i will do better and upgrade my site in future, that was cool)

On the Award ceremony, 30 of us was selected to be ambassador SIWA, & was given certificate of knowledgement from IMDA and PA, $100 dollars gift voucher and also Thumb Drive,  after the event i was invited by channel news asia for interview, i was abit nervourse but i pull it tru (ayayaii) the interview was publish on the news at 10pm channel news asia and all channel in singapore TV.

Mereka haruslah melakukan kerja2 kemasyarakatan selama beberapa hrs yang di tetapkakn oleh PA di samping menyumbang tenaga berkongsi dan mempunya pengalaman juga aktif dalam IT seperti pengunaan gadget, website, editing dan sebagainya yang sewaktu dgn nya, dan senantiasa berkongsi pengalaman berkenaan IT kepada masyarakat, kawan2 serta keluarga. Jika semua di atas telah di lakukan, mereka ini akan di nilai dari 1. penglibatan, 2. kemahiran  3. Website (kalau ada)  4. Keaktifan (mengunakan teknologi terkini)Ibu antara salah seorang dari 28 peserta yang menerima penghargaan sebagai DUTA INFOCOMM, antara syarat bagi membolehkan peserta di pilih sebagai Duta Infocomm
